Merry Christmas from Latvia

Merry Christmas!! & Happy New Year

Dear family, friends & partners in prayer;

This has been an incredible year for me as I have been living in Latvia since November 2010. It has been a year of spiritual & personal growth in ways most likely could not have happened in the states. So many new adventures and opportunities continue to open up for me as I serve the Lord in Latvia and beyond while at the same time having to learn a whole new language and culture.

I am excited to see what new adventures await me in 2012. I’m sure as they will unfold, the Lord will continue to take me outside my comfort zone so that I am fully relying on Him. I do look forward to sharing what He does with you in the coming year.

I have now put away the summer and fall clothing and have taken out all the sweaters and other warm clothes for the winter. We already had our first snow fall of the winter and were expecting a “White Christmas” again this year.

On behalf of my family & friends from Latvia we want to wish you a Christ filled Christmas & and awesome new 2012. Thank you everyone who has believed in me, prayed for me and supported me in my mission ministry to Latvia. I feel blessed that I have been able to touch so many lives this past year because of your support. I at least know two children who are very grateful that I am in Latvia and I’m now a part of their family. Thank you for making this possible.

From all of us here in Latvia to all of you were ever you are, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!

Love dmc

Our 24/7 online radio station "GWR" has now switched to our Christmas music format. We are featuring beloved Christmas carols, Holiday standards and worship songs to fill where ever you are with the sounds of the seasons. Take a listen for free at GentleWind Music Radio. You can hear two personal "My Memories & Moments of Christmas" stories featured on "GWR".. "The Scary Santa" is the story about my deep fear of having to see the "Big huge man with the white beard, red suit and goes Ho ho ho, who see's me when I'm sleeping, knows when awake, knows when I'm bad or good and yet has no idea what I want for Christmas".

The story "The Gift We Gave Baby Jesus" is a moving story about the Nativity display my mom put out one Christmas eve. There was Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, the three Wise men with their gifts. But mom added a "fourth" gift...that would forever change how I saw the Nativity.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for believing in me, praying for me and supporting me as I share the love of Jesus with the people of Latvia. I could not do this without your help and support. May God bless you this Christmas season!
